What does the Slack integration do?

After TripActions is installed at the workspace level, the TripActions Slack app will surface a notification to users in the company at the very next booking. 

Each user will need to opt-in to TripActions Slack notifications if they would like to leverage the notification functionality. Once users opt-in, they will begin receiving Slack notifications. The following types of notifications will be sent via Slack via the current scope of the integration with TripActions: 

  • Notification to the traveler that their booking is pending
  • Notification to the traveler that their booking was ticketed/confirmed
  • Notification to the traveler that their booking is canceled
