How do I use the Coronavirus Report?

In response to the increasing severity of the Coronavirus, we have added a feature to the Active Travelers tab titled Coronavirus report.

The Coronavirus report will be useful for the following:

  • Real-time data on current/future travelers going to affected countries as defined by the CDC.
  • Read the latest developments of the Coronavirus impact on business travel.
  • Get a quick glance overview at Coronavirus cases globally as tracked by Johns Hopkins CSSE.

To view this feature:

  1. Select Active Travelers tab.
  2.  Select Coronavirus report.

FAQs

Q: What is the source of the displayed information?

The data and information displayed come from the Johns Hopkins University Center for Systems Science and Engineering (JHU CSSE). This is also supported by ESRI Living Atlas Team and the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab (JHU APL). There is also information available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Q: Is there a way to contact current travelers from within the TripActions app?

Yes, contact any traveler that is currently on a trip by going to the Live Map tab where you can view their phone number or send a push notification to the traveler. 

Q: Are there any other notifications going out to travelers?

Yes, the TripActions Proactive Care team sends emails on a daily basis to all travelers who have booked travel to an ‘Affected Geography’ as determined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Q: Are there any other notifications going out to Travel Managers?

Yes, the TripActions Proactive Care team sends a weekly email to all Travel Managers/Admins who have travelers with upcoming travel to an ‘Affected Geography’ as determined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
